You can easily search for public domain photographs to use royalty-free images in your blog posts. The search feature makes it possible for any blogger to search using a term that’s relevant to the blog post they’re working on and, in turn, find images for use within the blog post. A public domain photo is basically one where the copyright has expired or never existed, so you’re free to use the image.
New Old Stock
This is an interesting site where you can find historical royalty-free images that don’t have any copyright restrictions. If you’re looking for unique, older-style photographs for a blog post, then this is your site for royalty-free images for your blog. The historical photos are fun to look at, even if you’re not looking to use them in your next blog post.
Pixabay
This site offers you a chance to search for royalty-free CC-0 licensed images using any word you want to search for. While the site has many photos to choose from, it can be rather difficult at times to narrow down the search to a photograph that truly suits your needs for a royalty-free image for your blog. This is last on the list due to the fact that sometimes it’s more difficult to find a good image for some topics.
Each of these sites will aid you in finding the best royalty-free images for your blog, and will help inspire you to spend less money on high-quality photographs by simply using photos that are free in the public domain or offered free of charge by the creator.
